First episode! The guys talk about the earliest origins of the Christian faith, by exploring where the source texts of the OT came from, and learning a bit about the political and cultural environment of the time of Christ. Their cocktail of choice for this episode is the venerable Old Fashioned

 

Old Fashioned recipe:

2 oz. Straight Kentucky bourbon (we used Ancient Age - get it?)

1 orange wedge with peel

Splash of Maraschino cherry syrup

4 dashes of Angostura bitters

Splash of water or club soda

Shake it up and pour it over ice
