Welcome to the inaugural episode of hurryupandwait: the podcast for actors who are in it for the long haul! On this "podlet" episode, hosts Ethan Saks and KC Wright discuss BFAs, EPAs, New York vs. LA vs. Chicago, crazy commercials, bad auditions, and vampires.
About us: Ethan Saks and KC Wright met as undergrads at the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama, where early collaborations ranged from costarring in "Beyond the Horizon" for Freshman play projects (so precious,) to coordinating heroic fundraising efforts leading up to their Senior Showcase. They took seperate paths after earning their BFAs in 2009- KC moved to Los Angeles, Ethan to Chicago- but both found their way to New York in summer 2012. As newish actors to the New York AEA scene, their friendship was necessarily rekindled, and hurryupandwait was born. Both live in Brooklyn, so they can most often be found on the train commuting to midtown for work or auditions, or killing time in the early morning hours near the Times Square Equity Center.
