On this episode, we had the pleasure to speak with Joana Azeredo (@azeredo_joana) from the Centre of Biological Engineering in Braga, Portugal.

She told us about her life-time research: bacterial biofilms. We talk about how bacteriophages can impact biofilms, how both phages and bacteria have evolved strategies to counteract each other, phage depolymerases, phage-antibiotic combinations and other ways to reduce biofilms.
