We review the powerful first two chapters of 1 John. AAA- The Attributes of Christ (Life, Light, Love), The Anointing of Christ (His Holy One, Holy Spirit), The Abiding Relationship in Christ (with Christ, with God, with Holy Spirit). SSS- The attributes of this world- Sin, Sorrow, Suffering. Christ prayed not to be saved from the cross, but to be saved out of the hour of the cross. Let us likewise walk in Christ’s attributes and be Christ-like in prayer, as we live in a world of sin, sorrow and suffering.
