“Hi there, it is the Kid Advocate, SEMA’TSE- Jordan. I work at RCY on the Social Media Youth Team. I am First Nations, from Ahousaht (Nuu-Chah-Nulth), Nanaimo (Snuneymuxw), and Terrace (Nisga'a) B.C. I have been in and out of care my whole life. This podcast is based on my own opinions and experiences with the foster care systems. I want to voice my own experiences with the systems. It is my way of reaching out because I know I am not alone, and I don’t want any kid in care to feel as though they are alone. Because everyone has a voice, and everyone has the right to be heard.”
