Proverbs 5 talks about adultery.

Paul is still talking to the people of Corinth. He teaches them that sorrow that leads to salvation brings life and sorrow of the world leads to death.

The Old Testament is getting dark because the kings are so evil. These are stories people like to avoid but so much can be learned. Maybe if people read the stories of old we wouldn’t be repeating it today.
