* God remembered David as a man who followed Him whole-heartedly and honored all His commandments.

* We know David broke many of them.

* The key is that we only have record of David sinning these ways one time.

* He didn’t continue in those sins thus revealing His rejection of God.

* David sinned in the flesh.

* Saul sinned in the spirit.

* God shows us what love does - when we operate out of love we keep no record of wrongs.

* We can go back and re-interpret past issues where someone has hurt us and we can view the positive aspects of this person and no longer the negative.

* This is how we break the bondage of our past.
