The film documents the journey of Mama Shirley Foulks’ advocacy for her community in the local schools of Cherry Hill, one of the most segregated and disinvested communities in Baltimore. This podcast is a discussion of about the family and art-centered programs, philosophies, African wisdom, Black/African-American education and white-allyship.
