1 May 3052 Having bargained for their proxy war, the Ilkhan informed the clans that should they succeed on Tukayyid, Terra will be theirs. Along with all Comstar has to offer. However, Focht had spent two years studying the Clans’ ways of war. He had identified their logistical weaknesses and lack of readiness for long, running battles.
His strategy focused on using the empty terrain of Tukayyid to lead the Clans on long battles of attrition, accepting victory as the destruction of a Star here, a Point there, until he bled the Clans to defeat.
First on the fabled planet were Clan Smoke Jaguar, followed sometime later by the swaggering Clan Nova Cats. Comstar were prepared and willing to do anything to win this war.
