Welcome to the very first episode of Your Story Matters. I'm your host, Michaela Elizabeth, and I'm grateful you're here!

I'm always reflective every new year, and I'm even more so when I took a look back, not on the last year but the last 10 years.

You're invited to come along as I share my journey from high school to college to Covid-19 to finding my husband. It's been a wild ride and while I thought I'd always be doing theatre, I never expected this is the way my life would turn out. I'm grateful and very lucky but I'm not where I thought I'd be. And that's okay.

Are you not where you thought you'd be? It's okay if you're not. I believe 2023 will be your best year yet as you come to realize again or for the first time that your story matters.
