1 Peter 2: 24 Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness - by whose stripes you were healed.

The cross is the theme of Good Friday. The cross is the central symbol of Christianity - Not because of it's shape, but because of Who hung on it, why and what He accomplished on that Cross. So the question we are asking today is simple but eternal: "Why the Cross?"
