What shapes us will eventually come out of us, and in 1 Peter 3:8–22, Peter shows us that a life shaped by the gospel becomes a life of faithful witness.

Peter calls believers to live with unity, compassion, humility, and love, not just for the health of the church, but also so the hope of Christ becomes visible to the watching world. Even when Christians suffer, face opposition, or feel the fear of rejection, we are called to honor Christ as Lord in our hearts and be ready to give a reason for the hope within us.

Evangelism is not about having perfect answers or polished words. It is about ordinary Christians, anchored in extraordinary hope, speaking of the crucified, risen, and reigning Jesus with gentleness, respect, and courage.

Because “Christ suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God,” we have good news worth sharing. This week, ask the Lord to help you move toward one person, pray for one opportunity, and speak of Jesus with love.
