One simple and hard fact is that the people of God don’t always get along with each other. You would think that those who walk in holiness and with Jesus would be able to walk in harmony.

From God’s point of view, there is only one church and one body (Eph 4:4-6).

But on the human perspective, we see a church divided and sometimes at war.

There is always a need for unity in the church. In this section, Peter is going to present four vivid pictures of the church to illustrate this point.
