In our study of 1 Peter we have learned so far that through Jesus we are chosen, born again to a living hope, living stones, royalty, priests and more. This is all wonderful news, so wonderful we may wonder what our place is in this world. Our position in Christ can make us think it’s time for everyone to serve us, to roll out the red carpet, we are royalty after all. But as we conclude chapter 2 of 1 Peter we’ll see that our position in Christ actually sets us up to do good, not to be served.
