Hear the phone call during the infamous Texas winter storm that started this podcast off. I call up Johnny Otaku along with Angel (Tenchi?) and surprise them by announcing we're recording the first episode. Some of our homes have lost power, one of us was asleep, and one of us is sitting on the toilet. After introductions we start talking about Tokyo Ghoul and how collecting manga can be an expensive hobby. Then we mention some favorites and classics like Cowboy Bebop & Outlaw Star, talk about a local anime store we heard of, and the guys say they're down and willing to be on the show.
