We don’t mean to get distracted, but it happens. We don’t mean to forget about God, but sometimes when life is going well, we don’t see our need. When Samuel gives his last speech to Israel, he reminds the people of the Lord’s blessing. He also reminds them of what happens when God’s people turn away from the Lord. Do you desire more of the Lord’s blessing poured out on your life and family? Could you use some guidance, some provision, some divine help? If so, Samuel reminds us of what we must do.
