After seven months of dealing with plagues and shifting the Ark from town to town, the Philistines had enough – so they returned the Ark to Israel. But even with the Ark returned, the Israelites continued to struggle and place their hope in the wrong things. Nothing got better. They continued to struggle and lament for 20 more years. Slowly and gradually, they began to soften their hearts and turn back to God. Yet in their movement towards God, the enemy attacked. In this message we will see what happened to the Israelites, and learn how we can respond today when the enemy closes in.
