A current study revealed that the skills shortage in the cybersecurity field is threating the cybersecurity of 85 percent of German companies. But it’s not only a lack of people coming in but also about attrition. About 30 percent of all cybersecurity experts stated that they consider leaving their current job. That’s why we conduct career and training paths for the new colleagues BEFORE they even enter the company.

-94 percent state that cybersecurity is now as important as never before.
-Same proportion thinks that their company could do more to provide further education e.g. via mentorship programs
-There are three levers to solve the issue: targeted promotion of cybersecurity careers (43%), encouraging STEM students to consider the profession (41%) and better financial aid for students (39%) were cited
