David’s confidence is built on his special relationship with God and his own righteousness.

This is not really our song; it’s Jesus’ song.

But we can share in this song through Jesus.

5 ways Jesus makes th is our song…

  1. The LORD’s word is flawless (Jesus is God’s word/ promise to us)
  2. God shields all who take refuge in him (Jesus is our shield)
  3. Remaining faithful to God will never disappoint (Jesus will return for us)
  4. We too can be confident that God is on our side (Jesus proves this)
