In 2011, at age 17, Teresa Scanlan won Miss America making her the youngest ever to win this competition. You went on to compete in Miss World America in 2015 and came in 4th runner up. 

 In 2018, she joined the Air National Guard. She graduated from basic combat training in the top 10%. But, there is more. She  just finished her 2nd year of law school UC Berkeley School of Law

And if that wasn’t enough, she is a single mom to a beautiful little boy.
