This weekend we start our Christmas series called The GIFT. We will be studying the first chapter of John’s gospel. This time of year, we generally beginning thinking about gift giving and receiving. Our culture has built into Christmas the tradition of giving and receiving gifts.

What is your strongest memory of receiving a gift? What is the most important gift you’ve ever given? Perhaps to gain perspective we should revisit the most important gift ever given or received. In our study of John’s gospel, we will learn more about this gift given to the human race. It is a gift so powerful it can raise the dead, heal any sickness and forgive any sin.

Join us this weekend as we remember how very blessed we are as recipients of the greatest gift ever given.
