Welcome to the inaugural episode of Never Free To Play, a gaming podcast from the minds and perspective of two “outsiders” with a passion for games and no time to play them. Join co-hosts Jason and Karch as they do a pretty okay job opening the podcast after a not-so-okay start. We start with some hopes and dreams for 2020, followed by news that threatens to turn those dreams into nightmares: Coronavirus. Diablo IV developers update isn’t doing Blizzard any favors in Karch’s eyes either. Next we talk a little bit about what we’ve been playing and most of it is glowing. Expect this segment to be much shorter in the future as we live up to our name and stay on brand. Following that we’ll wax on about the games we wish we were playing but simply have to pass on: Temtem and Borderlands 3. Jason asks Karch some questions and they both end up putting Super Mario World on a pedestal. Jason closes with his personal thoughts on why Greg is the worst.
