While Luxembourg is a fairly small wine growing region covering only about 1,200 hectares, its history dates back to Roman times, making it to one of the traditional Central European wine growing regions.

In this first out of four episodes, I discuss the history and the terroir of Luxembourg as well as its implications on the grape varieties grown here.
