Timothy’s charge is to fight the good fight. The aim of this charge is love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith. It’s all about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Paul urges Timothy to live a godly life, in the sight of God our Savior. Living a godly life allows all people to see the gospel and be saved through knowledge of Jesus Christ.
