* These verses are talking about providing financially for your family members in need.

* If someone doesn’t provide for their family, the people God has placed in their lives to provide for and protect, they have DENIED THE FAITH!!!

* But we can apply them to our responsibility to give our family what they need emotionally and relationally.

* How we love people is how we love God.

* How we take care of the people in our care shows how much we love God.

* EX: if someone married my daughter but spent all his money on his own thing and relied on me to provide for her, he’s not worthy of being the in Benham family.

* So let’s take seriously the protection and provision we owe to others, especially those whom God has placed in our care.
