Free Mama Radio

1: Two Years Later: Why I Decided NOW is The Time To Launch Free Mama Radio

Listen Later

Finally! I have been looking forward to this day for SO long! I have been thinking about doing a podcast since I launched the Free Mama Movement in 2017.  If you know anything about me, you know that I am quite the prioritizer and love to achieve goals…. But, they need to be at the right time.  And that time wasn’t right until now!

Like many things in life, things don’t always go as planned.  I thought this launch would go differently than it has.  Clearly, I didnt expect to be quarantined inside my house with 3 kids and a husband while trying to record these episodes for you.  In life and in business, there are times when you have to get creative and that’s exactly what I had to do.

I am so excited for this podcast to be out in the world because everything about the Free Mama Radio mission comes back to my mission behind the Free Mama Movement.  I know I was placed here so I could share the message that no mother should have to choose between family and financial stability.

I grew up with an amazing stay-at-home mom, so I thought that's what motherhood should look like.  Then, I discovered that I love helping people and challenging myself.  Plus, we needed the income.

Does picking one mean you fail at the other? Does pursuing financial stability mean you are putting your family second?  Can’t I just have it all!?

In this episode of Free Mama Radio, I will talk about what I think being a good mom looks like and how you can be a good mom, while bringing home an income for your family if that’s what you feel called to do. I'm glad I'm no longer torn between choosing one for the other. I created a business I love, on my terms, and so can you.
