SUNDAY 8TH JUNE

Sanofi and Stagecoach  have joined forces to create a new girl band who have one thing in common. They are all teens living with Type 1 Diabetes.  1 Type have released a song  called Rise Up and an accompanying music video. The aim is to open up conversations and bust the myths around T1 Diabetes a condition which is often misunderstood. A true testimony to the power of music and the arts to get a message across.

I spoke to Karen from Sanofi and from the band Finlay who attends the stage coach branch in her local area of Cobham.
