1. VIII. Litigation Training #s16 SHRC Insights: Patent Candidate Attorney - Right to Freedom of Expression

Igama lamakhosikazi malibongwe.

Our inaugural annual SABWiL Human Rights Court lauds the entrenched Right to Freedom of Expression, section 16 of our South African Constitution, Act No. 108 of 1996. Our training court commemorates the signing of this supreme law into being on 10 December 1996 in Sharpeville, Soweto by the late Tata Madiba, Nelson Mandela.  Aspiring litigators prepare heads of argument and address our Justices who are seasoned in law practice.  Allegations of rape are smattering in social media and this court is tasked with the concomitant suit. Do peruse the court papers filed at www.sabwil.org.za at our SHRC tab at #s16 for a deep dive.  A patent candidate attorney shares insights on the hearing.  We thank intellectual property law firm Spoor & Fisher for their sponsorship.
