In the age of Amazon, perhaps no industry has had it worse than the toy sellers. Local toy shops have been undercut by Amazon and then hurt again by Target and Walmart trying to push back against their own Amazon threat. Scale hasn't done much to help. A year ago, Toys R Us-the industry's behemoth-declared bankruptcy.
