Welcome to the first ever episode of "The Third Tier"  third tier show, which is a brand new show and community, dedicated to supporters of EFL League One clubs.  The show will be hosted by Tom Mayne (from the Seasiders Podcast) and Ben Knapman (from Cods Vlogs).  These two will be joined each week by two guests of different clubs, each giving their perspective on their clubs and the division in general.  In episode one, we are joined by Matt Boosey from Gillingham fans YouTube channel "Gills in the blood".  

The format of the show is currently in the embryonic stage and will probably change organically, until we hit a sweet spot.  But for now, here's what you can expect from the show:  

  • The spotlight on two clubs per show, with guests representing each club and telling you about the club, its players, current form, strengths and weaknesses, etc.  
  • Form guide - who's hot and who's not!  
  • Recap of the weekends results and mover and shakers in the league table  
  • The top current players and form teams in the division  
  • Divisional news  
  • And a look ahead to the week's fixtures and key games
