In this week’s 5-minute podcast, I talk about the idea of building a relationship to Courage—clarifying your relationship to Courage as if it were a person or character in your life.
We all have a relationship to Courage, whether we’re aware of it or not.
More importantly, we can choose a different relationship that can serve us better and bring us closer to Courage.
For me, my relationship to Courage used to be like that of a famous actor who I admired from afar. I glorified it and didn’t feel I should occupy the same space as that actor. That relationship kept Courage at a distance for me.
These days, I’ve evolved my relationship to Courage to be that of a lifelong friend. Someone who is always there for me, walks alongside me, listens to me, and keeps my best interest at heart.
So what’s your relationship to Courage, and what do you want it to be?
This can be a powerful way to bring more Courage in your life.
