Welcome to Scaffolds Podcast, a weekly roundup of the timely updates on insect and disease management as well as phenological developments across New York State for apple growers.

This week we are joined by special guest Dr. Jason Londo, assistant professor of horticulture at Cornell AgriTech. Our usual hosts include Monique Rivera, assistant professor of entomology at Cornell AgriTech; Kerik Cox, associate professor of plant pathology; Līga Astra Kalniņa, Cox Lab graduate student; and Anna Wallis, Fruit IPM Coordinator.

In this episode, Monique and Dr. Londo discuss the impacts of the recent late season freeze. Kerik and Līga overview the summer disease outlook. Anna brings us the State of The state on regional developments in degree day accumulation and phenology. Recorded 6/1 and published 6/2/23.
