This episode Michelle Gatchell and Dan Rockwell catch the momentum of Mastery Portfolio based in Columbus, OH. It was created in 2019 to build software for a new grading and assessment of students that celebrated growth, painted a picture of progress, and inspired action from teachers and students.The goal is to help schools truly empower students to own their learning and treat each child with dignity. Mastery Portfolio works with home schoolers, teachers, school districts, universities, and even companies wanting a way to assess training. Founder, Constance Borro, shares her journey in creating this business out of a need to improve something in her daily life,  what she has learned along the way and how their seed funding campaign is going.
