One of the most popular Christian hymns of all time is Amazing Grace. Not only is the tune memorable, but the words are so meaningful. It is a song that nearly everyone can relate to:
Amazing grace how sweet the sound / That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I'm found / Was blind but now I see
There may not be a more beautiful picture of God’s Amazing Grace than in the story of David and Mephibosheth. A crippled boy, literally living in the middle of nowhere, impoverished, who views himself as a “dead dog” is carried to the palace, treated like the prince he truly is, and eats at the king’s table for the rest of his days.
