Founded in 2020, ZORA is a decentralised protocol, built on the Ethereum blockchain, where anyone can permissionless-ly buy and sell NFTs.
While NFT marketplaces can be built on top of it, it is not a marketplace/platform in itself. Think of it as a collection of smart contracts that are meant to be the base layer when interacting with NFTs.
