We all have experienced or are experiencing some degree of anxiety in our lives.
Anxiety can be triggered by different reasons such as perfectionism, chronic stress or illnesses, post-traumatic disorder, fear of change, personal loss, need to control the outer world, or for a particular temporary circumstance such as going through a divorce, changing countries etc.
Anxiety can vary on different degrees of intensity, from heart palpitations to panic attacks.
So how do we cope with anxiety? Is there always an unconscious past experience, belief or inherited fear that we are unaware of? What is the purpose or role of this emotion if we start from the basis that every feeling/experience in life has a purpose?
