Here is a great truth: your attitude will determine how much joy, happiness, peace, and contentment you have.
Let’s look at our attitude today. I would like you to examine yourself. Ask yourself “how is my attitude?”
This week a certain phrase from the Bible kept going through my mind. This phrase was “renew a right spirit within me.” That is from Psalms 51:10.
Let’s read our verse for today:
Psa 51:10 "Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me."
Psalm chapter 51 is where David humbles himself and repents of his sin. He desires God’s mercy and forgiveness. He had departed from the ways of the Lord and wanted close fellowship with God once again.
As I was meditating on this phrase the thought that came to my mind was my attitude. The word “spirit” here is not the Holy Spirit or the spirit of man, it is the mood or attitude of a person.
I asked myself “Adam, do you have a good attitude?” I also thought about how important having a good, cheerful, godly attitude was. Our attitude as we go about our day can make or break our day.
