For this episode, Karen Harding interviewed Belinda Coomes.
Belinda is a Melbourne Australia based games music composer with a particular focus on writing dark music for dark games.
Fascinated with manipulating noise and sound in her music, Belinda is always looking to blend sound design elements with traditional composition techniques to help express emotion.
Currently, Belinda is composing music for the dark and twisted rogue like card game Ring of Pain, developed by Twice Different, and providing additional music tracks for Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun Rising, a full conversion modification for the original Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars.
We spoke about so many amazing topics such as developing your creativity, understanding and getting into music libraries for being featured in television and movies, building your musical network and so much more.
