On this episode of What's on Your Bookshelf Denise and Sam discuss Coach Wooden's Principle #3 - Make Each Day Your Masterpiece. Coach John Wooden's motto, "Make each day your masterpiece," emphasizes the importance of focusing on what you are doing right now to the best of your ability. It means recognizing that nothing can be done about what happened yesterday, and that you can only affect what will happen tomorrow by what you do today. Wooden's Seven Point Creed and Pyramid of Success are two key sources of his life and coaching philosophies. He believed in being true to oneself and making the most of each and every day. When speaking with his players, Wooden reminded them that the most they can give on any given day is 100%.
