Memory verses are a good thing to have. We should all work to increase our memory verses. However, some church groups have changed the memory verses in order to perpetuate their erroneous worship. The ten commandemnts is one set group of memory verses that have been "edited". This should be a clear warning to followers that their leaders are misguiding the church members.
