How does one electrify a classic car?

David Benardo and Bonnie Rodgers, co-founders of Zelectric Motors (www.zelectric.com), specialize in rebuilding and electrifying the 1958-1967 Volkswagen Beetles, Split-Window VW Microbus, 1960s Karmann Ghia, and 1973-74 VW Things. I recently went on a ride in their latest conversion, a 1973 Porsche 911 S Targa, and knew I had to have them on the show.
