Heather Napolitano started losing her vision in 2013 due to a condition called Capillary Non-Perfusion, a vascular disease where blood ceases to flow to certain parts of the retina and she has lost almost all of her central vision. In 2015 Heather and her husband, Dominick, co-founded SeeShore Fest, a super fun awareness and fundraising event with a variety of games and raffles to raise money for the Foundation Fighting Blindness and The Eye Institute. The Starboard Restaurant in Dewey Beach has graciously hosted this event every year and this year's SeeShore Fest will be held on Saturday, August 24th from 11am - 4pm.
