It feels like each year there's a new health documentary coming out about the health effects of toxins in our food (who else has seen 'What The Health' and immediately wondered why they aren't dead yet considering what they ate growing up?) These days a lot of people are concerned about toxins in our food, but many are unaware that we have toxic nutritional beliefs that are just as harmful and debilitating when it comes to weight loss.
It's becoming more common for people to believe thoughts such as 'food is the enemy', 'as soon as I have the perfect body, I'll be happy', 'food makes me fat' or 'the fat in food becomes the fat on my body', 'This food is good and this food is bad'. Unfortunately I can relate. Throughout my training I had these exact thoughts. These might seem like harmless thoughts. But they create a painful relationship between you and food that leads to ongoing suffering.
Throughout this podcast I dive into the physiological effects that happen in our body when we create specific thoughts around the foods we are eating. This podcast is informative and has information that you may not have heard before.
