My name is Bui and I am a newcomer to cycling, this podcast serves as my journey of discovery and understanding as I delve into the world of cycling. Through my discussions with people that know more than me, I aim to not only uncover the essentials of becoming a cyclist but also to inspire others to embrace a more active lifestyle preferably on a bike.
In this Episode I meet with Chris Burkard. Since Chris speaks English, this intro is also in English. So sorry to my Icelandic speaking audience.
I'm excited to share this conversation with you. Chris is an explorer, photographer, speaker, and author who loves cycling and sharing stories of his adventures. We're fortunate that one of Chris's adventures brought him to this remote island in the middle of the Atlantic. His explorations of Iceland, through photographs and stories, have most definitely played a significant role in making Iceland a popular destination, particularly for cycling.
Cycling's popularity in Iceland has grown in leaps, with the rise of gravel riding being the latest one. Since Iceland is predominantly made out of gravel, it's an ideal place for gravel riding. Chris's photos and adventures have likely pushed many Icelanders to discover and appreciate their landscapes by bike.
In this episode, we delve into the joys of cycling, explore the importance of finding fun in exercise, discuss the experience of relocating to Iceland, and much more.
I hope you enjoy this episode, and if you do, we'd be thrilled if you could leave a review, comment, or subscribe.
