In this Episode we meet Champion handler Jess Kimpton from Sydney, New South Wales. Young mum Jess started training dogs from age 4!! She now has an impressive record in 3 Sheep Trial competitions including most recently winning the 2024 Trans-Tasman at the Commonwealth Championships Sheepdog Trials with her Border Collie Newcomen Stitch. Jess also judges and competes in ANKC Herding Trials, with the current highest titled Sheltland Sheepdog in Australia over all 3 stock types (cattle, sheep and ducks). Jess shares some great insights into her training methods for reaching the top of 3 sheep trials and how we can all become better handlers.
