#10 - Joli Hamilton - “PLEASURE, JEALOUSY, and COMPERSION”

Listen Later

Joli is a mom of 7, has a PhD in Depth Psychology and works as a research psychologist, sex educator, and relationship coach. Her Ted Talk “The Opposite of Jealousy” is a must watch.

What a fascinating conversation this was!

Joli talked about how when we liberate pleasure, we can liberate ourselves from systems of oppression. She talks openly about her non-monogomous relationship and straight privilege. I shared my path, recently coming out as bisexual, which lead to a powerful conversation about shame and our willingness to be witnessed. My favorite part was learning about what compersion is and how we can all attain it.

Joli is more interested in growth than comfort and it shows. This episode is expansive!
