Here are the top 10 lessons from my first quarter as an articles clerk:

1. Solve hardware problems before software problems
2. Inner change always trumps outer change
3. You are handicapped without a plan for the day
4. Don't be a trainee for too long
5. If at all possible, don't be green
6. Workplace titles are utter nonsense (they're also not)
7. Don't be the dude who died early
8. Motivation is underrated
9. There are things about which you think and things about which you don't
10. The world will shape you if you don't shape yourself
