Then we pivot to address topics like self-consciousness, the feeling of being left out, and the different perceptions others have of us. Matthew opens up about his struggles with volleyball, detailing how a coach's belittling comments led to burnout and a shift in his career aspirations. We also discuss crying and how he copes. We talk about different types of friendship and Matthew explains forcing versus letting friendships develop.
