Four mysteries on NamUs, the national database of unidentified remains and missing persons, come from the shoreline of Lake Erie. Two of the cases - a man found in 2014 by a downtown Cleveland break wall, and a woman in a disco dress who washed ashore at the Cedar Point causeway in 1980 - are currently undergoing fresh DNA testing. The other two are a man found in Lucas County in 2005, and the case of a Lorain fisherman presumed to have drowned in 1983, though his body was never found.
