This week on the podcast is Fatima Gatela, RN, BSN, MBA. Fatima started her nursing career in the Phillipines then came over to the US. She first worked in Florida and then made her way to California where she started her journey into nursing informatics.

Fatima takes us through her nursing journey and how she got into nursing informatics and why she chose that specialty in her nursing career. She gives us a good overview of the available jobs within the nursing informatics specialty and some tips for getting started. She also shares her journey as a nurse entrepreneur, tells us how she started her own website, and how that grew to helping others interested in the nursing informatics field.
